This filament sensor works with any 3D printer running Octopi through a Raspberry Pi. Just connect it to the IO pins on the Pi and install the filament sensor plugin through Octoprint.
The filament sensor plugin for Octoprint allows you to define your own code to run when the sensor detects no filament. In most cases you can use the M600 command to start a filament change.
